I took this photo as a young woman when I first left Alabama. This is in Death Valley National Park. At one point I lived in an extremely remote off grid resort in the park. This is also the hottest place in the world, and where the new breaking wild flowers were this year."Travel hard" taught me patience and it feeds into my dedication to my art practice.
